About Nofil Nadeem
Nofil Nadeem is an associate lawyer at Heeney Vokey LLP and practices in all areas of employment law and workplace investigations. Nofil is a strategic problem solver and fierce advocate. He advises both employers and employees on wrongful dismissals, terminations, employment standards, employment contracts, human rights, and workplace harassment and discrimination.
Prior to joining Heeney Vokey LLP, Nofil worked at a well-respected employment law firm. Nofil also summered and articled with a full-service law firm in downtown Toronto, where he focused on litigation, employment, and human rights law. Nofil was called to the bar in June 2021.
Nofil is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School. While in law school, he volunteered with Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN), supporting justice education for youth in at-risk communities in Ontario, and Rainbow Railroad, supporting LGBT refugees seeking asylum around the world. In recognition of his contribution to the Osgoode community, he was awarded the Graduating Student Award for Exceptional Leadership. Prior to law school, he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction from the University of Toronto.
In his spare time, Nofil enjoys staying active, playing competitive Pokémon, and is a rising star of Toronto’s ballroom scene.
