AODA

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (“AODA”) is intended to provide a framework to develop, implement and enforce accessibility standards in order to achieve accessibility for Ontarians with disabilities with respect to goods, services, facilities, accommodation, employment, buildings, structures and premises on or before January 1, 2025. The Customer Service Standard is the first accessibility standard and is focused on the customer service aspects of offering goods and services to customers with disabilities.

Heeney Vokey LLP is proudly committed to providing accessible customer service to persons with disabilities. We welcome your feedback on our provision of services to those with disabilities and would encourage you to contact us to provide your feedback.

Please also contact us if your organization would like more information about achieving compliance with the AODA, including policies and training.
