About Jessica Nolan
Jessica Nolan is an associate lawyer at Heeney Vokey LLP and practices in all areas of employment law. Jessica is passionate about the tangible and immediate impact that employment law and workplace investigations have on both people’s lives and businesses. Jessica advises both employers and employees navigating wrongful dismissals, terminations, employment standards, employment contracts, human rights, and harassment and discrimination.
Prior to joining Heeney Vokey, Jessica summered and articled with an international full-service law firm in downtown Toronto, where she focused on labour, employment and human rights. Jessica was called to the bar in June 2020.
Jessica is a graduate of the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. During her time at Dalhousie, Jessica spent a term working at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Service and volunteered with the Immigration Services Association of Nova Scotia. Prior to law school, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University, where she graduated on the Dean’s Honours List.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys alpine skiing, Pilates, jigsaw puzzles and watching anything on HGTV.
